We have no other use of the slug.
the slug has been used solely by the pretty link.
i tried to update the target url in the pretty link,
and we get the above error…
It’s as if we can’t update the pretty link…
this is our pretty link http://www.icloudlogin.com/MacKeeper
Do you have any other suggestions?
Would it be ok to delete it and recreate the pretty link with the same slug?

Hi there… yes i trying just to update one word in the url… once i do this and hit save, the original url returns and this error comes up…
ERROR: This Pretty Link Slug is already taken. Check to make sure it isn’t being used by another pretty link, post, page, category or tag slug. If none of these are true then check to see that this slug isn’t the name of a file in the root folder of your wordpress install.
surely this shouldnt happen if i am just updating it?
