Kinda crazy I didn’t think of that before. I spent all my time developing the pro version (waiting for it to be perfect) that I forgot this detail.

In reply to: [WPJ Reports for MemberPress] the reprot@futureyoon This report tool currently only shows on backend. Are you wishing to output it on frontend? Perhaps with shortcodes or something? (That’s not a bad idea…could be fun for some use.) Also would you want to display the whole report page or only certain elements…such as the chart or data table?

I’ve been juggling so many projects but will have screenshots and some demo video up shortly. Thank you for your patience. (Or let me know if you’ve already bought and want to make suggestions for more info.)

But thank you for the feedback and who knows, if I come around to feel it necessary one day…maybe we can chat again about it.

We’re not looking to invent new features every month if that’s what you’re looking for. Just adding new ideas when we think of one or as requested by a client.
Also, please note that our PRO version has a strict NO REFUNDS policy. Please ask all questions beforehand or try out this free version and make sure it’s 100% compatible with your setup.

- If 1 member sign-ups with 2 different product subscriptions…would you rather track it as 1 member-signup or 2 product sign-ups?
- If this same member cancels 1 of the 2 product subscriptions, would you calculate this as 1 churned member subscription or 1 churned product subscription?
Ultimately, we chose to track by product subscription rather than by member as this gives a clearer picture. Does that help?

Indeed, I would find that useful as well. Here are my initial thoughts on this:
- First issue is dealing with how we get their location. MP by default doesn’t ask user for location information upon sign-up. So perhaps we could call it a geo-login report. Where it tracks location by their login IP. I do see existing 3rd-party extension already like this one. Problem is this only tracks location info for users that actually login.
- If you really just want location report for all users (regardless if they log in or not), maybe we can go by their sign-up IP (if that’s being tracked).
- We could probably provide the country report for free version. And then pro version will be able to drill down by a regional level (state, province, etc). But definitely not down below that.
Lots and lots of little things to think about.

- How many members joined prior month – this shows easily enough. But what do you mean by tiers? If tiers are groups, then no…that’s not specified in reports…if tiers are separate products/memberships, then yes.
- How many members cancelled prior month – it’s shown. But how long they were members before cancelling, that’s not shown. But a good request for me to consider organizing.
- How much revenue came to relative membership in prior month – it’s shown. Estimate for upcoming month, not shown.
- How many upgrades the prior month – awesome request! Will definitely add this in the to-do.
- Average lifespan of member – another awesome request. Will add this to future version.
- Cancellation breakdown – probably good idea for future churn report. Breakdown at 30/60/90/120 days is tough. Maybe can be considered for a yearly churn report.
