My php version is 7.1.16. Other plugins works great with notifications system, only WP ULike doesn’t show titles 🙁 And switching off bbPress doesn’t solve it.
I think Alimir and Janicepickens are with me on the same boat with the same problem, problem related to WP ULike code 🙁
Thank you very muchUpdated to newest version and the bug with blank notifications title is still there 🙁

I am using the latest version of WP + BuddyPress + bbPress + WP ULike as I mentioned here:

Yes please, this issue is here more than month without any news from developers 🙁 I had to disabled this plugin for this error.
