This is definitely a problem with the plugin. I have it on many client websites and the notification does not dissapear.

Pressing the X does nothing.
Does it in all browsers. Plugin version 1.3.4.
This was reported over 9 months ago, is this plugin still being maintained?
For anyone with the same issue, this is a wordpress feature by design. The plugins were only accessible by the admin role thus not showing under the client options.
WPFront User Role Editor – I used this to ammend the roles.
