Hi @webmaster1234,
Just following up to check if you had a chance to review our previous reply and the video we shared.
The “Powered by EmbedPress” text can be turned off in the free version, so it’s not a forced advertisement. If this clears the confusion, we’d really appreciate it if you could update your review. 🙂
If you still face any issue or feel something can be improved, please let us know. We genuinely value honest feedback.
Thanks for your time.

Hi @dexterforu ,
Just following up to check if you had a chance to review our previous reply and the screencast we shared.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
Hi @webmaster1234,
Thanks for trying EmbedPress and for sharing your feedback.
Just to clarify, the “Powered by EmbedPress” text is optional and can be turned off, even in the free version. It seems this option may have been overlooked.
You can check this short video here to see how it works: Video Link
If this clears things up, we would really appreciate it if you could consider updating your review, as this seems to be a small misunderstanding. We are requesting this because 1-star reviews can negatively impact our growth, and we believe that was not your intention. 🙂
If you face any issues while using EmbedPress, please let us know. We are always here to help.
Regards,Hi @uckydogie,

Hi again, and thank you for updating the review.
Just to clarify — during Black Friday we only added a small color highlight and a simple sticker inside the popup, which automatically turned off after the campaign ended. The close (X) button’s behavior was never changed, and it has always worked the same. You can even check the codebase to confirm that nothing was modified there.
We also double-checked several scenarios on our side to ensure the popup wasn’t causing any disturbance. So the issue wasn’t actually caused by any intentional design or “spamming,” and we’re always very careful about that.
Still, thanks a lot for updating the rating — really appreciate it. Your earlier 1-star review was affecting us, even though we didn’t intentionally do anything wrong. If someday you feel we deserve a better rating, we’d be really happy. Thanks again for your understanding. 🙏
Hi again, I’m really sorry if the notice keeps showing repeatedly on your side. It’s not designed to work that way. Most likely something is causing a conflict on your setup.
I’m sharing a screen recording where you can see that after I close the EmbedPress milestone notice, it does not appear again.
Please see this Screen record.
Hi there,
We’re really sorry for the inconvenience. The small milestone box you saw is designed to give you a quick overview of how your embeds are performing with a clear close (X) button so you can hide it anytime. Once you close it, it shouldn’t appear again until you reach the next milestone, like 1,000 or 5,000 views/clicks. It’s also true that we included a small Pro feature promotion inside it, something we normally avoid, but our intention was never to bother or disturb our users. We sincerely apologize if it felt that way.
We will review this right away to make sure nothing shows repeatedly or disrupts your dashboard experience. Our goal is always to keep things clean, helpful, and respectful for you.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Since you’re using EmbedPress, we’d truly appreciate any suggestions on how we can improve or if there’s any feature that would benefit you and other users. We’re always here to listen and make the plugin better for you. And, if you feel you could give us another chance to improve, we would truly appreciate it if you could reconsider your review, and we promise to be more careful in the future.
Regards,@iugoau, thanks for reporting this; we’re already checking the issue and will fix and deploy a new version within the next hour.

Hi @flaviusv,
Hope you’re doing well. I just wanted to follow up on your feedback regarding NotificationX.
I appreciate you sharing your experience and wanted to clarify a small detail. You mentioned that the free version allows only one notification bar, but actually, users can create one notification of any type (not just a bar). There’s no restriction on the type—it can be a sales notification, review alert, or anything else. The limitation is only on the number of notifications, not the type.
Thanks again for your feedback! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Regards,
Hi @flaviusv,
Hope you are doing well, and thanks for your feedback! Yes, we agree that this limitation should be mentioned clearly, and we will update it soon.
NotificationX is a commercial plugin, and we have properly tagged it at the top: [screenshot link].
As a commercial plugin, let me share some insights with you. Based on our analysis, 70% of our users enable only one type of notification—either the Notification Bar or Sales/Similar notifications. The remaining 30% users want to create multiple notification types. If we allow multiple notifications in the free version, there would be almost no reason for users to upgrade to the Pro version.
We didn’t specifically highlight this limitation because we focused on showcasing main features and other important aspects. However, we do display an “Upgrade to Pro” message for users who try to create multiple notifications. That being said, your point is valid, and we will highlight this limitation to the description soon.
NotificationX is owned by WPDeveloper, a company with 30+ WordPress plugins and over 7 million active users. We have a culture of appreciating valuable feedback, so we’d love to send you a small gift. You can share your email address or reach out to me at [email protected], and we will get back to you soon.
Thanks again for your feedback! 🙂
Hi again @jeremynative,
We’ve thoroughly checked and found that there was a bug in our last release, which caused this issue. However, we’ve already fixed it and deployed another release right away.
If you update to the latest version and check, the warnings should no longer appear. Please try it out when you have a chance and let us know how it works for you.
Again, we’re really sorry for the inconvenience caused. 🙁
Hi @jeremynative ,
We apologize for any inconvenience caused. It seems there might be some confusion. As far as I know, we haven’t turned any free features into pro features, even from the beginning.
So, could you please help clarify exactly which feature you’re referring to? We’re eagerly waiting for your response.
Regards,
