No. At the moment it seem to be that there is no setting to increase it.
The problem is that there is no answer from support team how this problem can be solved.

there are several posts for this problem but no answer from support team.
Seem to be that the problem is the compression of the backup.
For huge installations the compression needs more then 5 minutes and then the task interrupted.
After 3 restarts the task skipped and you get the error message from BackWPup.
That´s seem to be the reason but nobody knows the solution.
