I just ran into this issue as well. I’m running WordPress 5.2.1. and ACF 5.8.0 (full release, not beta).

I just wanted to confirm that I’m having the same problem. When the plugin is activated I can no longer edit my pages. The visual editor just becomes a white box.
I’m using a fresh WordPress install with the 2017 theme and WP Visual Editor is the only plugin installed on the site.
The JavaScript console says there’s an error because wpuf_assets_url is not defined; that seems to be the cause of the problem.
