I was editing post with the visual editor and I hadn’t realized that there was a bundle in the code, in the text editor, something like<code><code><code>[ic_add_posts </code> category='category-slug']</code>I’ve cleaned this and now it works fine

I have the same problem, the slideshow appears correctly on single pages, but on archive pages it does nothing. The same content it’s being called by the same way (the_content()) in both templates. I tried also to replace it with do_shortcode. Strange…Did you get it?

You can try installing ImageMagick. Imagick php module must be installed in the server.

i am looking for the same thing, trying to add a gallery whith thumnails of images attached to posts with a certain category. And i am getting crazy, because i think it sould be easy to do that, but i don´t find the way, strange thing, no plugins, no category posibility in gallery shortcode… only some people that asked for the same without having any answer… Did you obtain that? Maybe is not a good idea to use wordpress as a photolog…
