    Donny
    Thanks for your reply.
I think it was my mistake. I originally saw an X mark under the expired column and assumed this meant it had expired.
I’m now seeing a ‘tick’ mark in the expired column, which I’m now interpreting as it actually has now expired, whereas it hadn’t before. Is this correct?
If so, it may be a good idea to leave the Expired column blank until such time it is expired to save confusion.

    I’ll contact the host.

I’ve retrieved the site doing a fresh upload, as you suggest. That’s great, and I really appreciate your help & suggestions, but if the sub domain in question had the WSOD whilst the main domain and other sub-domain, which are obviously sitting on the same server/host etc, do not, surely this has to be a WP problem and nothing else?
If that’s the case, my problem is getting to the bottom of why? This would appear to be a common issue that’s being going on for years. I’m just trying to get to the bottom of what’s causing it in the first place.

I can’t access the WP control panel, but I can upload a static page via FTP, like phpinfo, as you suggest.
I’ve uploaded it to the problem sub-domain and the main domain. They do differ, but I’m not sure what I’m looking for. Any suggestions?

I have other installs on sub domains and they’re just fine. I wonder if there’s anything else I could try rather than just move host???

There MUST be something else I can try?……….

Currently it’s just this sub domain.
My host aren’t interested in this sort of thing.
They ask if I can ping the site. If I can they say it’s not their problem!

    Thanks for all your help.
    It’s all sorted now πŸ™‚
Seems it was the DNS propagation after all. It was really doing my head in, so went down the pub for a drink. Came back and it’s all good πŸ™‚

Just to mention. It does NOT work on my phone either (android)

As I’ve only recently transferred this domain across from another host, is it possible that the DNS is messed up or incomplete somewhere? How can I prove that, or not?

    Thanks for the suggestion.
I cleared the DNS and that allowed me back in to the WP Dashboard.
I can edit the page, but I still get a problem.
In IE, if I go to http://staffordshireshortbreaks.co.uk I still get the old website (it’s about Alton Towers and stuff)
If I edit the page then go to ‘preview changes’ I sometimes get to see the correct page. Other times I get a 404 error.

On my wife’s PC everything worked fine until she logged into Chrome to create her own profile as she’s never done this before and I wondered if that was the problem. After she did that, she got the same error as me. She’s also cleared the DNS but in Chrome gets the ‘no input file specified’, which I don’t in IE
As a result I uninstalled Chrome and used IE (which I rarely do)
All in all I’m mighty confused!
    So to clarify(?)
The ‘no input file specified’ error appears in Chrome but NOT IE
Clearing the DNS helps, but only until you try and do something like view the actual page.

    OK I’ve found it.
I’d set the minify mode in W3TC to manual and added jQuery there.
If I set minify mode back to auto it works fine.

    Thanks for your help

    Thanks for your reply
It seems it’s W3 Total Cache that’s causing the problem, although it worked before. I have recently changed some of the settings in W3, but can’t remember which ones πŸ™
