    This is a brilliant post. Is there a way to use this plugin in a page or post?I have some asp pages I need to display in a page or post.

    Update. The plugin seems to wok OK. It seems the users have to log in to the Forum first then WordPress creates a username entry in its tables. I was under the impression that the user can log in from either the forum or wordpress once the bridge is installed. What i will do now is keep the Forum running for the next 6 months or so to allow wordpress to collect usernames and passwords for those who log in during the 6 months.

    However how do i get rid of the warning mesage as it is appearing above the website’s header.

    I have installed this plugin correctly I have
    Reccomended Current OK ?
    Files
    auth_wpbb.php 0.7.1 0.7.1 OK
    common.php 0.7.1 0.7.1 OK
    common-orig.php – Original OK
    Configurations
    Auth Mode wpbb wpbb OK
    Wordpress Path Variable ../ OK

    and auth method set to wpbb. My problem is that i can not log into wordpress using usernames that i already have in my phpbb3. I get an invalid user. I have tried registering a new user on the forum and the new user is getting invalid user when trying to log on.
    using WordPress 2.9.2.
    Board version: 3.0.6
    Mysql 5

    common.php is already modified however in module.phpbb.php i can not find the full string you mentioned. the closest I could find is
    $include_contents = file_get_contents($common_file);

    Please help I only want to import phpbb3 users into my wordpress. I dont need the forum anymore. Getting phpbb3 and wordpress to share signon is an added advantage.
