In reply to: Installed and configured Gengo, now whole site is blankOK I determined the source of the problem (admin and frontend pages becomeing blank). It occurs when both Popularity Contest 1.3b3 and Gengo 2.5.1 are enabled. Disabling one or the other fixes it. Perhaps the developers of one of these plugins can take a look at the conflict.

I tried re-enabling Gengo (without any other extensions enabled) and it seemed to work in that configuration. Then I realized another problem; for some reason MySQL is not saving Japanese text correctly into the database, as the Japanese text that I entered while configuring Gengo all got converted to question marks. I am not sure if that is related to the original problem or not, but I am working to fix the database problem next. Ah, I hate Japanese encoding issues… I will also try next re-enabling my other extensions too to see if there is some kind of conflict.
