This problem is not reported by any one else.
The plugin works with latest wordpress version 5.5.3 and latest woocoomerce version 4.7.1 . You can check up by doing a dummy transaction in https:/demo/kiasa.in/shop
Just because the plugin is not updated in 2 months does not mean it is dead.
It is updated whenever there is bug fix.Request you to see what else could be causing issue from your side. Many times,
it is other plugins or themes which could be interfering.This is a free plugin, if you need more support, kindly send me details.

I tested the plugin with the latest releases of WordPress (5.5) and Woocommerce (4.4.1) and it is working.
The demo site https://demo.kiasa.in/shop uses latest versions of software and you can check there too.
This error could come if the gateway is not setup correctly. Can you uninstall and reinstall, configure your UPI and check.

UPI plugin uses Javascript code to print QR code and it could be having issues with Async javascript. Can you disable this plugin and check and let me know.

May be I will try some other CSS and update the version.

I have updated the demo.kiasa.in website to 5.3.2 and it seems to be working.
I tested demo.kiasa.in/shop for both desktop and mobile

Can you check if the UPI VPA is right. This error could come if the UPI VPA is not valid or there is a spelling mistake in that. It is of the format xxx@yyy
