Ok so basically I’d be best just re-saving all the images in photoshop as jpgs and re-uploading them? No quick fix?

Hi there.

I can’t test it out because I have already clicked on the media list view button as you suggested and changed every image from png to jpg, but this brings me back to my first query. Even though in the Media library list it seems to have changed the pngs to jpgs, when I go to the website and click on an image to ‘Save as’ I am saving png’s which makes me think the images on the site haven’t changed.

Any suggestions?

Ok I have inputed ffffff as the background colour as you suggested. What do I do now? Do I go:

MEDIA >> BULK OPTIMIZE >> FORCE RE-OPTIMIZE >> START OPTIMIZING

…or is it wrong to select ‘Force re-optimize’?
