I tried deactivating all plugins, no luck. I switched out to the default theme, and that seemed to work fine. I am wondering if there is an error with my current theme. It is Lucid by Elegant themes. I recently contacted them regarding the issue. I updated to the most recent version of WordPress and Lucid theme, but am still having the issue.
The other suggestions you offered are out of my realm of abilities 🙁
