Sorry, it is really small but you should see the 2 typography lines in the customize section.
It lasted all day, and next day, it was gone: now there’s only one line, everything is back to normal..
So, I guess we can tag this post as resolved.
Thank you for your help. 🙂Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [evolve] Font family doesn’t display in CustomizeHi Denzel,
Yes, you are right. I activated the theme and not the reduxframework plugin immediately and it created the problem even after reduxframework was activated later on. So, I removed Evolve and installed it again, and now the font-family box displays, but I still have 2 typography lines. Is it normal?
And for my other site with the same problem, I updated the plugin and it fixed it.Thank you for your help.

In reply to: [evolve] Font family doesn’t display in CustomizeI think there is a bug in the template or a conflict with the new wordpress version.
I compared the customize side bar of Evolve on my older sites and the new one, and I noticed several things:
– Before I did the updates of WordPress and the theme, everything was ok.
– After I updated the theme and WordPress of one of the older website, everything was still ok for one of them. This wordpress version is in French, but the 2 others are in English
– But after I updated wordpress and the theme on the second older website tonight, I got the same missing Font family drop down menu than with the new one.
– And moreover, comparing the side bars of the customize sections, I noticed that in the new one, there are 2 Typography title lines: 1 below the Header title line and 1 below the Footer title line. But on my older websites, the Typography title line is only below the Footer title line.
The 2 Typography lines which are in common are the ones below the Footer title line, and they are similar except that the Font family drop down menu is absent from the Customizing section of my new site and of one of the older after updating.
And in this customize section, there is above, as I said, another Typography title line which leads to Default Typography which opens on font settings for paragraphs and all the headings, and in there, I can choose the Google fonts I want. The font family drop down menu is working there.
It would be fine but there is no way in this section to choose fonts for the Blog Title, the Posts titles and several others.
I find strange that there are 2 Typography lines.
Because of this extra Typography line that I didn’t notice before (sorry about that!), I think it might be a conflict between the template and the last version of wordpress. If so, what can be done?
But I’m not a specialist and may be it is something else.Any suggestions?
PS: I made some screenshots, but I realized I can’t attach images to the message.

In reply to: [evolve] Font family doesn’t display in CustomizeYes, all my sites are on the same shared hosting account. I’m with O2switch in France (I’m French) but I run the sites from India where I live.
I don’t know much about PHP, but I read on their site that their PHP version uses FPM (if it rings a bell to you) and I read that they are really up to date for everything, including PHP, so I don’t know… but there’s definitely a bug somewhere!
Maybe I could use a plugin to use the Google fonts. I read somewhere it does exist.
That could be a solution to bypass the problem? But it wouldn’t really solve it.Thanks for taking interest! 🙂

In reply to: [evolve] Font family doesn’t display in CustomizeHi Freddie,
I didn’t have much content yet, apart from some images and plugins, so I just tried as you said, but unfortunately it didn’t work. The problem is still the same. This is weird!
Anyway, thank you for your help. 🙂Valerie.
