In reply to: [Connect GamiPress to Discord] Role Mapping from DiscordCurrently, the plugin does not support two-way synchronization. Due to the plugin’s structure, we use API calls and a bot setup that does not support syncing roles back from Discord to WordPress.
For now, the social login feature is not available.
best regrads@sarahgaunt, please make sure the Bot has a higher priority than all other roles.

In reply to: [Connect GamiPress to Discord] How to login via Discord with this Plugin?Thank you for your feedback!
I understand the inconvenience of having to use two different plugins for Discord integration at the moment. The good news is that we plan to implement the feature you’re asking for—allowing users to log in via Discord and map ranks/achievements within the same plugin—in the next release.
We already offer this functionality in many of our other plugins, and we’re working on bringing it to this one as well to streamline the process for our users.
Please stay tuned for updates, and feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or suggestions.

In reply to: [Connect GamiPress to Discord] How to login via Discord with this Plugin?Hi @xzcasd
Thank you for your interest in the add-on and for reaching out.Unfortunately, this version of the plugin does not support user login or account creation via Discord. We do, however, offer this functionality with other plugins.
To better understand how to use the add-on, please check this documentation link on how to connect GamiPress and Discord: https://www.expresstechsoftwares.com/connect-gamipress-and-discord/
If you have any further questions about connecting the add-on to Discord, feel free to contact us.
Hi @mhmmdsufyan
Unfortunately, there is currently no option to run the API for all users at once. The API can only be executed for a single user at a time.
Additionally, running the API for all users at once may fail due to Discord’s API rate limits, which could result in some calls being blocked or unsuccessful.
Yes, the latest published version (1.2.22) includes the fixes from both PR-15 and PR-16. You can safely update to version 1.2.22 to resolve both issues.
Hi @dio373
It seems there is some confusion between two different plugins. The “Connect Paid Memberships Pro to Discord” add-on is for Paid Memberships Pro (PMPro), while the add-on you are referring to here is the “MemberPress Discord Add-on,” which we provide support for.
Could you please clarify which plugin you are using so I can provide the correct support?
I’m glad to hear that the issue has been resolved! If you have any other questions or need further assistance in the future, feel free to reach out.
Thank you for using the plugin, and I’m happy we could get everything working as expected.
Hi @angelojim ,
Thank you for reaching out.
Could you please clarify what setup steps you have completed so far? Since you mentioned “made the mapping,” it seems that the bot is connected and has successfully fetched the Discord roles. However, please ensure that the bot has a higher priority than the other roles within your Discord server. This is essential for the correct assignment of roles.
Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance with any additional setup steps.
Hi @panostz ,
I just tested with the latest published version 1.2.22, which corresponds to the following PR: https://github.com/expresstechsoftware/pmpro-discord-add-on/pull/16.
The welcome message is being received correctly, as you can see in the screenshot below:
Thank you for your update.
I wanted to let you know that I tested the welcome messages for new subscriptions, and they are being received as expected. Here’s what I did for the test:
- Purchased a new recurring subscription for a user.
- Clicked the “Connect Discord” button.
- Received the welcome message successfully in Discord.
It seems everything is functioning correctly in this scenario. Please feel free to try again, and let me know if the issue persists on your end

Your feedback is invaluable and helps improve the plugin for everyone.Hi @opscanbot
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out. To better understand the issue, could you please clarify a few things?
- Is the member not joining the Discord server at all?
- Or is the member joining the server but not getting the Discord role mapped to their PMPro level?
Any additional details you can provide will help us troubleshoot the issue more effectively.
Looking forward to your response.
