In reply to: Network Solution/WordPress Domain Help Please@songdogtech THank you for the links. I’m inexperienced with these kinds of things, so I have a couple of probably basic questions. I hope that you’ll bare with me:
1) I don’t see the root directory on the Wp Editor…where is it?
2) What is the best FTP client to use for this?Thank you!

In reply to: Network Solutions/WP helpJust figured out how to login.
Now my problems are:
1) if I point my domain name to the wordpress hosting package, it goes to an “under construction” page.
2) When I publish a page, it’s xxx.netsolhost.com/about, but I want it to be thesupporteconomy.com/about.Any help very much appreciated.

In reply to: Network Solutions/WP helpMy domain name is pointed to the WordPress Hosting Package, and in the past it’s taken ~15 minutes to work.
Even still, I should be able to log-in to the Dashboard through the xxx.netsolhost.com/wp-login.php, correct? I get this message:
“404: Page not found
This error is generated when there was no web page with the name you specified at the web site.Troubleshooting suggestions:
Ensure the page you are linking to exists in the correct folder.
Check your file name for case sensitivity . Index.htm is not the same as index.htm!
Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists.”
