I understand, that from one hand – for this plugin it’s difficult to explain that it works fine, and the problem is on the user’s end. From the other hand – just to say that it works and send .webp file with kept EXIF also can’t be 100% convincing 🙂

What my investigation has shown 🙂
Yes, it was problem with Imagick on my server. When I started to use your plugin about half a year ago, I had to ask hosting support for custom settings for Imagick. Because default ones didn’t work. And some time ago, after automatic updates on server, custom Imagick was replaced by default. As a result, your plugin stopped working. At the same time, in these conditions, ShortPixel was still able to generate .webp with EXIF data.

Summary. After adding some grey hairs, I was able to make your plugin work again. Probably, there is a space for updates to make plugin work for broader number of users (server settings).

Anyway, thanks for your plugin and job you are doing.
