Thanks. Actually the user has multiple roles, some with the noted checkbox active and some without, however the Role Priorities had not been set. After giving the Administrator role the recommended priority things are working as expected.

Thanks for the follow-up. I’ve sent a ticket to ForumWP. Hopefully they’ll be able to address the issue.
Thanks for investigating and identifying the additional issue. ForumWP causing a conflict with Admin Toolbar might get more attention than if the conflict only occurred with User Menus.
I found the conflicting plugin; it’s ForumWP.
That’s a very important plugin for me.
Can you test and see if you have the same issue and see if you can provide a resolution?
