Resolved resolved resolved – wahoo! 5hrs of tech support later and it works on desktop and iOS. Issue was all due to the fact that Hostgator’s own web builder can doesn’t uninstall properly.

Hi, it does seem to be working on desktops now, which is great! Now just need to work out why it’s not working on iPhone/tablets- especially as the responsiveness is the reason I’m using this.
(It’s not a pro only feature is it?)

It was a residual error from the Hostgater webbuilder software. It’s working on desktop now and hopefully phones will catch up in time.

So hostgator ran tests and found it was the coming soon plugin that was causing the problem. THey deactivated all of the plugins but the issue doesn’t seem to be resolved and changing the theme still doesn’t yield and visual changes.
Watch this space.
No unfortunately not. I’ll start a new chat with hostgator and see what happens. I don’t see the coming soon page with a random url either – i just get an Internal server error.
I’ll let you know what the support team say – they’re looking at it not.

I contacted Hostgator at the same time at contact you and they’re saying it’s a coding issue and they don’t provide support for that. Looks like i’m going to have to hire a pro.

I am with hostgator and i’ve looked around and can’t see how to switch this plugin to be a theme – let alone the default one unfortunately.
Any advice?
