I figured it out. Needed to overide Css in main theme added this to my child theme:
#branding .only-search + #access div {
padding-right: 5px;
}
twenty eleven padding-right was set to 205px
Nice slider, may consider pro version. seems easier than woo sliders to use which I do have a license for.
