Just an update: the form is currently working, even though the configuration still shows the warnings as I mentioned before.
However, now I’m facing a new issue:
The form is receiving spam submissions.
So I’d like to ask:
- What is the best way to prevent spam submissions in Contact Form 7?
- Do you recommend reCAPTCHA v3/v2, Akismet, a honeypot solution, or other methods?
- Could the configuration error be related to spam protection not working properly?
I’ve already implemented SMTP, so emails are being delivered correctly, the main issue now is how to block the spam sent to the form.
