In reply to: Unable to edit on postsHi @sterndata
Thank you for your messages, as mentioned I don’t want to name and shame the plugin, for though its now been 16 messages and counting, it could be that I’ve just had bad luck in who is replying in helping, and sadly they have hit a dead end, and so I’m hoping to work out the problem myself.
I discovered the error messages on the console when trying to load a post, but I don’t have enough technical expertise to understand what this means so that I can search on how to fix it, or what’s causing it to stop it.
Thank you for helping

In reply to: Search within results (tags, date, archive)Thank you for helping and the code.
Sorry, I’m struggling to understand. When you say change the action of the form to the URL, do you mean to change the action name and manually type the tag name of the URL? So for example the tag ‘pineapple’ you would change the action form to the URL …/tag/pineapple so that you can then search within the tag results for pineapple? If so we wouldn’t be able to do this for we have over 120 tags already.
Or did you mean change the `// https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/reference/functions/get_the_archive_title/
$type = ”;`
to the websites url? e.g.https://...../tag/Again thank you for helping, and apologies for any misunderstanding

In reply to: Featured Image Caption with Multiple LinksVery kindly, A Morre, suggested the following HTML be inserted into the featured image caption;
<a href="ENTER WEBSITE ADDRESS" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ENTER LINK NAME</a>For example, if you typed this HTML into a caption;
This is <a href="https://ww.wp.xz.cn/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WordPress</a>It would look like so; This is WordPress
With ‘WordPress’ linking to the main site.
This works a treat, and thanks again to A Morre
My apologies, and completely understand. I was meaning more in the way if there was plugins that would be compatible and could use this, or otherwise would look to create outside of them. I will mark this as resolved, again apologies.
That’s great thank you.
I’ve found your plugin to be brilliant and of great help.
My apologies, I believe what I was looking to do is in fact not possible. I’d been hoping to have a dynamic search bar, and that like the archive title and posts would be automatically generated by the main custom query and using just the one template (one for tags, one for author). But if I’m correct in assuming, I would in fact need to create a specific page/archive for each tag/author in order to have a specific search bar for each.
Thank you for your time.

In reply to: Featured Image Caption with Multiple LinksHi,
Can anyone please help with this issue? Or recommend a plugin that might work?
Hi Vinod,
Thank you, I understand then that my first request isn’t possible, as I was looking more to create a secondary search bar for those results.
In regards to search with tag and author, I meant within the archives. For example should someone click on the tag ‘charity’ it takes them to the automatically queried archive tag for ‘charity’ but this is a main query post generated and so it’s not a specified page for charity, but a post archive template used for all tags. I wondered if it was possible to create a search bar that searches only within that tag’s generated archives? And the same question in relation to the author archives.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for coming back so quickly.
For example, say I do a search for paint, and the results pop-up, how do I then search within these results?
And how do I create a search bar, that searches just within tag. And another that searches just within author archives?
Thank you

In reply to: Allow visitors to flag/report posts and pagesIf it’s of help to anyone else who might come across this thread. I ended up having too many plugins and so couldn’t use the plugin kindly recommended, and then I realised I could use a popup form – in combination with a button link – to create a report function, it’s not as smart as the plugin but it works okay.
