If I take out one of the shortcodes either generated by Code Snippet or given by wpDiscuz then I don’t see comments feature.

Please clarify, you can try this quickly on your end as well ( OceanWP + Elementor free )

Can you please clarify what’s the “shortcode” for social supervizer ? While googling I found below steps

1. Once the plugin is installed and activated, go to your Elementor editor and navigate to the page where you want to add the comments section.
2. Drag and drop the “Shortcode” element from the Elementor widget panel onto the page.
3. In the shortcode element, enter the shortcode provided by the comments plugin.

I have double checked and both the options are enabled in my case.

I’m using “free” version of elementor and see that “Post comments” widget is locked state in “edit with elementor” mode.

How do add comment in this case or it should be enabled by default ?
