    Thanks Darshana,
The message clearly states, however, that the problem was with the message, not the email address:

550 This message has been reported as spam by other users

Are you stating that it is not actually the message itself, but the email address that has been reported by others as spam? Are you sure it is the email address that is sending the message, and not the email address being sent to?

Why is the error message stating it is the message, not the sender or recipient email address?

    Thanks again.

    OMG, this is surprising!
I’ve just spent the past half an hour trying to make this plug in to just that. It didn’t even occur to me that the developer hadn’t built such basic functionality into the plugin.
I’ve had to look for another lightbox plugin to achieve it.

Yes, I do understand that the target markets are set on both products and categories. But if you select ALL countries for both Markets and Products as I had done, the customer gets the red warning telling them that some of their cart items are targeted specifically to certain markets and as a result, they can only select those countries as their shipping destination.

My point was that if I want to cast the widest net possible, that is, if I intend to sell to ALL countries in both Categories AND Products this warning should not appear. Instead, I had to select NO countries in Categories, which is completely the opposite of what one would intuitively expect to be the case.

It just seems counter-intuitive to have to set it up with NO countries selected if you intend to sell to ALL countries.

Thanks Mihai, that seems to have fixed the problem.

To have to set the target market to NOT include ANY countries seems completely the opposite of what it should be though. I want to sell to ALL countries, so I ticked ALL countries.

But the way you have built it is the exact opposite – if my intention is to sell to ALL countries I have to have NO countries selected. It’s completely counter-intuitive and misleading. If instead you reversed it so that we tick the countries we do want to sell to it would make much more sense.

    Thanks again for your help.

Thank you for responding so promptly Mihal. I have no restrictions in place and sell products to any country. All categories have been set to accept orders from all countries and yet I still get the red warning on every single purchase regardless of the country of the person attempting to make a purchase.

I would like to remove this message entirely as it is deterring customers from making a purchase. Even I interpreted it this way and spent several hours trying to fix the issue. Please instruct on how to remove this warning so that it never appears.

    Thanks again.

I have the same problem. When ever I go to the checkout page, even before a destination is chosen I get the validation message in red text:

Some of your cart items are targeted specifically to certain markets. As a result, you can only select those countries as your shipping destination.

I’ve tried turning off all plugins and changing the theme to the default WordPress theme but the error message remains.

Strangely though, if I ignore the warning and continue with the transaction I can successfully purchase the item. Unfortunately, most people would stop at the site of the warning and not continue with the purchase.

Why is the red warning appearing and how do I stop it from occurring?

    Thanks
