In reply to: logging in issuesI always create a second admin account. that way if I can’t get in on one I can on the other. You can not change the admin username once you create it, but you can delete that user from your second admin user account. Agree with the back up!!
Yes my sites all lost content on home pages with Evolve today. One the slider disappeared, it is now back but oversized. The boxes were gone but now back. Sort of looks odd https://www.keridak.com/
A second has lost its color. https://wisewomen.keridak.com/
A third gained sliders and boxes, but lost content. I disabled these features. The sidebar shows up but the actual content does not.
Seems the theme took on a mind of its own today. Unfortunately my client was on tv and announced the site which no longer works right. Very frustrating. https://lifewithoutpockets.info

You have to manually assign each user to the “Members” group (in your case).
This is the issue that keeps me from using it yet.

In reply to: WordPress Install not showing??Appreciate it – sometimes it is the simple! The old site wasn’t a theme or WP it done in software I have. I did not do anything to erase or deactivate it.
I did activate the current theme and tried – deactivating the initial one, and installing a different theme just in case it was the them.
I know there is a migration plug in – I wonder if it would work?
