I chose to set the image size to 1200, but if I upload a 1500px image, the original file ends up being smaller in KB than the resized 1200 version, which feels illogical.
For example, the original 1500px image is only 30KB, while the smaller 1200px version is 50KB.That’s why I now first resize my images locally on my computer to 1200px before uploading them. This way, WordPress only keeps that one (e.g., 30KB) and generates only the three smaller sizes I need for my theme — without creating an additional 1200px version because of the max size I set.
However, this makes me spend extra time and effort, since I need to process the images twice. My previous plugin permanently deleted the original image, which was more convenient. But it didn’t have the advantages that your plugin has — like converting images to WebP and automatically renaming Greek characters into English.
Is it difficult to add an option so the plugin does not keep the original file?
Although now that I think about it, even if the original gets deleted, the 1200px image I set sometimes results in larger file size (KB) than the original image that was actually bigger in dimensions. Why does this happen?Okay, I figured out that it’s from WordPress, and I disabled it with another plugin. Second question Is it possible not to keep the original image on the server? For example, if my image is 2500×1000 and I’ve set it to resize to 1200×0, I only want the 1200px and smaller versions to be kept, and not the original 2500×1000 image on the server

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] AdsenseJust one final question: If I choose not to renew after one year, will the plugin stop functioning? Also, what kind of updates could make the plugin unusable if I don’t keep it updated?

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] AdsenseI’ve read similar explanations to what you’re saying here, but I’ve also seen information suggesting that when a user clicks “Reject”, Google still displays ads, just not personalized ones — instead, they are random or contextual.
Could you please clarify which is correct?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] AdsenseIf a user clicks “Reject”, does that mean Google ads will no longer be displayed?
Also, is it possible to show only an “Accept” button without offering a “Reject” option?Forum: Plugins
