I don’t remember but I can tell you I made no changes to defaults.

HI Pierre,

You can verify whether the actual icon is changed by visiting a path directly on your site such as
wp-content/uploads/favicons/favicon-160×160.png?random

Please advise if you are seeing the old or the new?

Sorry for late response elguavas. There has been an update since your post. Are you still having problems? Do you have any error logs regarding this?
