So @purplecodes if you have the free version it wil choose randomly from ALL the posts from a year ago (356 days)?
What if we want it only from the same day?

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Cache ErrorWe reverted back to Version 5.12.1 and it is not returning any errors. Can you please look into this?
The beta build worked. Now what? Will you be sending a universal update?

Hello, sorry for the late reply. Attached are the screenshots:

Why store the meta title and meta description if they are generated on the fly using data that already exists on the database (on unedited metadata)? Is that data storage redundancy or do it to save render time?
Since your upgrade is very bloated and very heavy on sites, and until you figure out a way to make it less taxing on sites, is it safe to stay on version 5.12.1? It’s the best option so far as it’s very stable!

Has anyone updated to 6.1.1 version? Is it still bloated and heavy on sites? Should we stay on 5.12.1 version a bit longer (it’s very stable and not intrusive)?
The new update is heavy on websites and making them slow. We started getting messages from Google Analytics about Performance Problems since the update 4 days ago. We also got complaints about the site being slow/sluggish and at times not loading on mobile phones for some.
Solution
We use a plugin called WP Rollback. It allows us to rollback to a previous update. We rolled back Events Manager to version 5.12.1 and the site was back to its normal speed with no performance issues.Until Marcus is able to make the new update less bloated, (or he chooses to revert back to the lighter version until he’s able to figure out how to make the new one lighter,) we suggest you roll back to 5.12.1
Now we wait and cross fingers that Marcus solves the problem quickly 🙂
We rolled back the plugin to 5.12.1 until you’re able to make it less bloated.
We hope the next update is soon and works out the size and all the kinks.Size:
The most major problem is the current update makes the website bloated and slow:
-GTmetrix with plugin activated 6.0.1 (Fail, timed out)
-GTMetrix with plugin deactivated (A, Performance: 89%)
-GTMetrix with plugin rolled back 5.12.1 (A, Performance: 89%)Kinks:
1- Once you ‘preview’ and reverts back, it messes all the square design (see photo: https://postimg.cc/crHxMZ0Q “)
2-Header becomes italic and cannot change it, regardless what H1, H2 or H3 header you use. It will always be italic! They were installed without our permission with your update. Suddenly they appeared after we update the plugin. A shady practice that preys on people who don’t know better just to generate popularity for your plugins.

It’s OK if it’s 1 year. The problem is we cannot change it. You guys made it pro and now it cannot be changed and stuck on 3. That’s what I meant by catch 22.
The failure message disappeared after Thursday. Thank you.
