Found a solution: It is not a good idea to update the main plugin and use it with old versions of extensions. This caused a lot of funny errors (of cause without a warning).
I have exactly the same problem described in post 1.
A newly created admin is missing
Locations
Events
Event Tags and
Event Categories.
The issue is marked as resolved but I can’t find a solution anywhere in this thread.
Latest version 5.6.6.1, single site installation
