Thank you for the quick reply! I see in your code where your referencing the Woo Com Total in your capture.
If I am hearing you correctly, your saying that maybe “Avalara” isn’t adding this extra fee to the WooCom Capture Total somehow, even though the Authorization total was for the correct amount?
I don’t understand how the authorization amount could change if nothing happened between the authorization and the capture?Ben
@sterndata will do. Not trying to stir up trouble. Love This Plugin, only plugin I found that does what it does in such a simple way.
@sterndata I would but he doesn’t list a website?
thank you @sterndata was not aware of this policy. How do you go about Hiring a plugin developer to work on a plugin that you are willing to pay for the work to be done? The WP Jobs seems to be for development work not for having the plugin developer actually make his own plugin better. I would not want someone else forking this plugin, I just want him to know that I believe he deserves to be paid to make his plugin better?

Thanks for the honesty and I realize this is not high on your priority.
That being said, I have worked with MyWorks and I believe between us we have identified what needs to be set when the order is processed to make this happen. See a statement from them below.
FROM MYWORKS:Our sync needs the below two fields to be set in order to accomplish what you’re wanting to happen: syncing the transaction fee in the order to QuickBooks. From the “correct” order #10722 above:
- The WooCommerce order needs to have a payment method that’s set to an actual payment method on your store, like “Credit Card”, and not Other: https://myworks.d.pr/i/CSi3kK
- The WooCommerce order needs to have a meta field of “stripe_fee” or “transaction_fee” for us to know what the actual transaction fee is: https://myworks.d.pr/i/1zL1FX
I’d agree that both of the above should be quite easy for your/a developer to fix/improve in your current “manual” credit card gateway! It won’t matter to our sync how the order is placed or how the payment actually occurs…as as long as the above two fields are correct/present, we’d be able to sync the transaction fee for you!
