Im going to try what you have suggested again and will post again with any issues, however stupid they may seem to me… I hope that’s OK!

In reply to: Static Home Page issueI couldnt find what was causing the problem on the page.php but did manage to solve it. I am using a plugin called WP Title 2 that enables me to change the titles on the pages so they are different from the menu links… in this plug in I found there was an HTML option so I turned that on and added an h1 tag and it fixed the display problem.

In reply to: Static Home Page issueThanks for the reply, because it did the same thing to all pages I was assuming it was something in the page.php, I just dont have enough experience to work out whatit could be, I suppose I was hoping that someone might have seen this before.
I will have a look at the page.php and see if I can see where this is happening.
If anyoneelse has seen this before and can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it
