Thanks, will do.
Hi,
I’m opening this ticket back up. My hosting company are adamant the problem isn’t with them. They say the cache software they use is proprietary – they are own by GoDaddy and use the same software by the looks of it, if that helps.
The “Flush Cache failed” error only happens when logged in as an WordPress Editor. Editors level users don’t have permission to manually flush the cache but the cache is clear automatically when an Editor publishes or updates a post. When the NextGEN Gallery plugin is enabled, the error occurs, when it isn’t enabled, it doesn’t occur.
The console only show the error as:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 () https://fqpbrighton.net/wp-json/wpaas/v1/flush-cache/status
Thanks
Russell
Thanks for the quick response. The hosting company said their cache software is proprietary. But when I asked about that, the support person starting looking into the issue again and they now think it might be a permissions thing with the way the hosted WordPress account is set up their end, and that your plug-in is just highlighting the issue. They are going to look into it further so I will close this ticket for now.
Thanks again,
Russell
Thanks Roch,
That’s sorted it!
Cheers
RussellHi Roch
Thanks for your reply. Do you mean Table Columns > Sort order ? Er. No! I hadn’t realised I needed to add it specifically there. I’ll do that tonight and see if it now works.
Thankyou
RussellBump…
Please note: I have ‘Head to head’ selected under ‘Tiebreaker’ in settings and I have tested using the Rookie theme. The league positions remain the same.
Just in case the live version gets altered, here is a screenshot of table positions not reflecting sets won/lost:
I’ve done some testing and having the word ‘Week’ in there seems to cause problems.
Marking this as solved and I’ll keep testing…
Hi Rich,
yep I tried Rookie (see original post 😉 ), the issue remains when sing it.
Russell
Hi Roch,
Just wondered if you ever heard back from the dev team about this issue?
Regards
Russell🙂
Thanks Roch,Have a good weekend.
(ps I meant Roch but, spellcheckers….)
Hi Rich,
I checked settings and the Linked Teams option is ticked…
If I look at any single event page via the link in the post (not a shortcode) then the teams are linked but when I use the event_block to display a calendar of events as in the front page of my website then the teams aren’t linked.
For now I’ve used jQuery to wrap a span tag around ‘vs’ so I can style that to look a bit better but it would be nice to have the teams clickable 🙂
Thanks
RussellThanks Roch,
On my local version of the site I have turned off all the plugins except Sportspress and activated Rookie but I’m still getting the same result:
<h4 class=”sp-event-title”>Saltdean vs Rookery</h4>
If I use this code below everything works as expected except the link_teams bit:
[event_blocks id=”194″ status=”future” link_teams=”1″ paginated=”1″ rows=”10″ order=”DESC” show_all_events_link=”1″]Any ideas?
Thanks
Russell
