I have been using the ‘WP Mail SMTP’ plugin since I set up my website, and it has been working well. Any plugin can call the mail function to send mail including the Wordfence plugin. However, after upgrading to the current version of Wordfence, I am unable to receive the ‘attack’ alert emails from Wordfence. I am wondering if there have been any changes to this rule.Hi @wfphil ,
My email function has always been good, what I mean is that I can now receive the
“The Plugin XXX needs an upgrade”
notification from the Wordfence plugin, but I cannot receive the
“The Wordfence Web Application Firewall has blocked XXX attacks over the last 10 minutes”
notification from the Wordfence plugin when my site is under attack.Thank you for your response,
I’m sure that the email function on my website is functioning correctly. Additionally, I have confirmed that Wordfence can call the function to send emails, as I am currently receiving email alerts from Wordfence.
The email reads as follows:
“This email was sent from your website ‘website name’ by the Wordfence plugin. Wordfence found the following new issues on ‘website name’. Alert generated at Friday 7th of July 2023 at 08:13:04 AM……”Hi,
