Thanks again for the quick response and I have installed the health check plugin. In the troubleshooting mode, I had only activated BackWPup and the job was still not able to run and it was stuck at the same place again (1. Trying to make a list of folders to back up…). Is there any way to get the plugin to work again?

Thanks for noticing that the backwpup-temps folder is missing and I have added it.
The job is still not working and is stuck at:

[29-May-2020 14:37:19] Restart after 31 seconds.The scheduled backup Next Run shows “December 31, 1969 at 5:00 pm by WP-Cron” even though I had set it for a different day and time.

Thanks for the quick reply and I did add in true for ALTERNATE_WP_CRON but it still does not work.
