thanks for understanding. Likely 99% of visitors do not care about these popups, which are now present at any site, and simply click it away. My understanding of GDPR, if it makes sense at all (which is in doubt), it should provide more control for the visitor and not just add some more bothering popoup.
Control means: I can decide “yes” or “no”. In this plugin, it’s just “yes” or “I tolerate your bothering popup for the rest of my stay”.
Even though the plugin is great in blocking scripts, I only use it because another method (using the script of cookieconsent) cant be implemented on this blog due to an issue with the wp theme I am using there. So, I had to search for a solution and found this one. However, I believe it might be GDPR compliant but it’s not user friendly.
Another point: you allow editing of the colors but not of the font-size which is quite small if you have an older target group.
