I had the same problem. I just deactivated all my plugins and then went and tried it and it worked fine, so it could be interference from another plugin. Easiest way is to inactivate all at once. Once you have it working you can reactivate the plugins or if you want to take the time you can reactivate one at a time to find out which one is causing the problem.
