In reply to: [BlackBird] Blackbird Latest Update Lost Homepage@ravenbutsu My CSS Coding issue was something completely separate.
First, make sure ALL of your Home Page settings are the way you want them under Appearance>Theme Options. Save those settings.
And the Settings>Reading>Front Page setting is the critical step to turn the front page on. Save this setting.
And once you do that, you have to go to Appearance>Customize, and under the “Static Front Page” tab on the left, you have to select “Static Front Page” AND select one of your Pages to be lit up at the front page…all from that drop down menu. Save this setting. After you do all this, you should finally get your home page back.

In reply to: [BlackBird] Blackbird Latest Update Lost HomepageYeah…thanks so much. I am trying to fix my top feature image to match that slider (short people in the photo), but that’s cake next to what you helped me with. I appreciate that. The coding’s a little counter-intuitive, but whatever works.

In reply to: [BlackBird] Blackbird Latest Update Lost HomepageI had to change it to some arbitrary page for a static page but I think I have it now. Just need to change a little CSS coding and I am good to go.

In reply to: [BlackBird] Blackbird Latest Update Lost HomepageThe front page is set to be on under the Theme Options, “Static Front Page” is set under customize, but it won’t let me change it under the “Reading” settings even though I have everything set. I can’t select a “Home” page.

In reply to: [BlackBird] Blackbird Latest Update Lost HomepageWell Mr. IonicaBizau…
After…
1) Rolling back the theme.
2) Rolling back the theme further.
3) Trying every method listed on this page (except for the FileZilla method), including yours.I still don’t have a homepage.
I am ready to tell my organization they have to fork over the $59. The alternative is leaving WordPress.
Can you advise, sir?
