In reply to: [WooCommerce] Import Products to update Existing ProductsAlso, is there any documentation for the Tools>Import>WooCommerce products (CSV) process?
I want to find out if I can update the products Attributes. I have a Brands attribute, so I have the CSV to have this Attribute>Brand>Nike, which is then added into the products when I import/update the Woo products. Thanks for the reply but I ended up using another plugin in the end. I’ll close this ticket.

In reply to: [GTM4WP - A Google Tag Manager (GTM) plugin for WordPress] Plugin abandoned?Hi Jaap,
I’m also worried about this. It’s the best GTM plugin for WordPress and the developer is a really nice guy. I would be surprised if he would just abandon it. I hope he’s OK.
Have you found an alternative? I know I can just add the GTM code to the header and body but then (I assume) various data won’t be available in the data layer (add to cart, purchase value etc).
Has this plugin been abandoned?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] PHP 8.3 Compatible?Oh, I forgot to add this link about WordPress, looks like PHP 8.3 is still in BETA (unless anyone has found a more recent update?)

In reply to: [WooCommerce] PHP 8.3 Compatible?Yeah, I think the PHP compatibility with WordPress core is a bit of a chicken and egg situation.
Maybe it’s WordPress waiting for most (all?) plugins to declare compatibility before declaring WordPress core to be compatible. I’ve done this many times (over various PHP versions, over a number of plugins in my stack) and I always get these answers from plugin devs;
- It’s fully compatible. This is the answer I want. It tells me the company is not waiting but proactively have tested their plugin with X version of PHP and are happy to declare compatibility (just for their plugin, they’re not saying WordPress core is compatible).
- It’s not officially supported but it ‘should’ work. They’re waiting for WordPress to officially support it. I can’t safely upgrade PHP based on this answer.
It’s just quite frustrating when a version of PHP was released in Nov 2023 and it’s still not officially supported.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] PHP 8.3 Compatible? Thanks for replying. No, I’m not seeing issues. It’s just that, I can’t really upgrade to PHP8.3 until it’s officially supported to ensure I don’t have problems with support not helping (because it’s not supported).
Saying that, since posting this, I’ve found out 8.3 isn’t even supported yet in core WordPress, so I guess that will be the thing to wait for.
No offence but will “We’ll make sure that your concerns about these ads are communicated to the right team to help improve our approach moving forward” actually stop these ads for Pro users?
I (and many other agencies ) don’t want a vague answer improving moving forward, we want these ads removed now.
It’s not just AI upsell nags, it’s also the other upsells like Image Optimization.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Disabling Link by StripeSame problem here. If Express Checkout is enabled (for Google and Apple pay), the pay by Link is automatically displayed also. There is no option to disable this.
Perfect, thank you.
Many thanks for the info. That’s all clear.
Thanks for the answer. 🙂
Some of the sites are quite low traffic, it’s just nice to have all the pages/post cached for when someone does land on a page.
I guess I could just preload the main / most popular pages & posts.Or another idea. I also use Swift Performance, with page cache currently disabled so not to clash with yours. Could re-enable caching on Swift (as I can control the preload speed on that) then disable the fallback cache on your plugin?
Assuming they’re both compatible (so Swift handling the website level page cache and your plugin handling the CF cache), if Swift does its preload via curls, would that also preload the CF cache?
Thanks again!
+1 to ask for a feature to add a tick box in Yoast to disable all Yoast Schema. I used another dedicate Schema plugin.
