In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] How to stop parent page scrolling in iFrameOne more thing
Is it feasible for the iframe to cover the parent page. I know an iframe sits inside the parent page, but I am just wondering is it possible for the iframe to stretch and cover/hide the parent page?
I know it sounds ridiculous…just wondering hahaThanks a lot

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] How to stop parent page scrolling in iFrameWow! I downloaded from Github and followed your instructions and everything worked as I wanted. No more scrolling issues. I tested on new and older browsers and it seems to be working.
Wish I had spoken to you before I wasted $13 on Codecanyon (not a lot but…)Thanks Ravan, I will be shelling out on the pro version of your plugin soon.
And Kudos for the fast responses as well
Cheers
Nikhil,
Thanks a lot for the quick update. The transparency effect now works only on beaver builder pages as requested.
Very impressive work my friend.
cheers
Hi Nik,
I tried replying but I can’t seem to upload my answer, could be the links that got rejected. am gonna try to contact you on google+ or Facebook
thanks
Hey there Nikhil,
Your plugin works like a bomb!
Here is my screenshot https://screenshot.net/n9dzzu8
So I first started by creating my own custom header and used your plugin to apply that custom header in place of Generatepress’s theme header. I then set the header to transparent and voila! I got a transparent header.
Magic!
I resized this for mobile view and everything is resizing nicely
I also worked with Generatepress’s own header and set it to transparent and it worked quickest because there was no need to create a custom header using Beaver Builder.
Here is the screenshot of the site I am working on again: https://screenshot.net/n9dzzu8. As you can see the header is transparent and the menu sits nicely on top of the hero image.
But what I have observed is that if you create your own custom header with Beaver Builder, Generatepress’s header disappears – which is what you want, but the navigation (Generatepress’s) refuses to go. So I went to the theme’s (Generatepress free) settings and there is a column field to hide the navigation bar. Here’s a screenshot of the settings to hide the navigation (Generatepress free) https://screenshot.net/x9gykh8.
Just one more thing, it’s a question more than anything really. On pages that I don’t create using Beaver Builder (or on pages that don’t feature a Hero image) I have noticed that the text of that page is pushed up to almost behind the menu. Here is a screenshot https://screenshot.net/7de07iw.
I have added somne CSS and the content moved down nicely but I am still to verify if that doesn’t affect the pages built with Beaver builder. Here is the code (Iam no CSS guru)
.entry-content, .entry-summary, .page-content {
margin: 2em 0 0;
padding-top: 15%;
}Here is the screenshot after the CSS: https://screenshot.net/wx25yc4
Sorry Nikhil, didn’t mean to make it long but I am really gratefull for your work. Would love to hear what you think.
Thanks
Hey Nikhil
I just saw your e-mail today and have downloaded the new plugin, just give me a few hours to use it on my demo site then I will let you know?
