Hey David, I almost forgot to reply last week.

Your solution worked perfectly and your description was easy to follow.

I managed to copy all the product meta tags to the linked product-pictures Alt Tags. This saved me so many hours of work, thank you so much.

I almost feel like I hired a freelancer, but no, this is a free plugin and free support.

Outstanding Support! I’ll drop a 5 star rating after this.

Thanks again and keep up the great work. Topic can be marked as resolved.

Thank you so much, you are awesome! 🙂

I am indeed using WP Meta SEO Version 3.2.2. (Used the “Content Meta” Function to bulk edit all meta titles and descriptions)

Woocommerce associates pictures with products in two different ways: 1) the Product Image and 2) the Product Gallery (which contains multiple pictures). Do you want the ALT Text updated for pictures in the Product Gallery?

Yes, I would like to set the ALT Text for both (the Product Image AND all Product Gallery Pictures.)

Looking forward to your response, thanks again!

    Thanks for the fast reply!

By “OnPage SEO” I mean I am optimizing the content of the webshop for Google. Meta-Tags and descriptions of all the products as well as optimizing content in general.

Sorry I wasn’t aware that different plugins store the meta data in different places.
I have Yoast SEO Plugin installed. But I used another plugin “WP Meta SEO” to set all the Meta Data on the Products. (it’s easier to handle editing multiple products at once, I assumed all SEO Plugins use the same field/taxonomy to store the meta title and description)

You wrote What I need to know is where the “MetaTitle” values are stored; custom field, taxonomy, etc.. Could you tell me how to check that? I used WP Meta SEO to set the Meta Title and Meta Descriptions of all the Woocommerce Plugins. All Products have attached Pictures. I would like to set the ALT Tags of the pictures to have the text from the Meta Title field of the product.

Let me know what I need to specify. Thanks again!
