    Hello Pieterjan,

We are looking at this right now. At first glance it seems that when we try to get data from our own server our “wp_remote_get()” is blocked by your WordPress (or web server) configuration. Are you aware of any thing on your end that would prevent a connection to an outside server?

While we investigate, I suggest that you install the previous version (1.4.7) of our plugin. The zip file is available here:

    https://www.web-stat.com/Web-Stat_1.4.7.zip

To install, use the plugin installation button normally, then, instead of looking up a plugin by name, click on the ‘Upload Extension’ button at the top and select the Web-Stat_1.4.7.zip file.

If you want to communicate directly, you can email me back at [email protected]. If you do, make sure that the subject line contains the words “Web-Stat support” or your message might get bounced.

    Hello,

I am just seeing your review. We did some updates to the plugin this week. One of the minor versions had an issue which we corrected after a few hours. Unfortunately it seems that you installed right at that time. If you need help updating/reinstalling (or with anything else) please answer here, or from https://www.web-stat.com/contact_us.htm and I will get right back to you.

We care about our plugin and try to offer the best service we can, unfortunately there was that hiccup a few days ago and it created a bad experience for you. Please accept our apologies. Hopefully we will hear back from you and get a chance to setup everything the way it needs to be!

    Hi Pieterjan,

Good news: we just released an update (1.4.6) in which the dashboard can be moved around manually from the top control bar. Simply update your Web-Stat plugin and you should be good to go.

    I hope this help 🙂

Please accept my apologies for not answering sooner. For some reason the WordPress notification for this message was not filed properly and I am only seeing it now.

We will look at this issue and see if that’s possible (I am not sure yet). Could you contact us via our support form at https://www.web-stat.com/contact_us.htm? This way I’ll have your email and I can let you know what the status on this is.

    Thank you!
