In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No DataI don’t know … they said they haven’t changed anything. Its Hudson Valley Host shared hosting. Why would a host not allow Slimstat? Like I said, it worked a few months ago and then stopped working. I just tried to re-install it but noticed it no longer created any tables.

I am not saying it is site wide, but on the server I was on it was definitely a HG issue. It was dozens of sites with the same issue all of which went away when they were on their new server.
As far as recommendations, I can only say research, research.
I ended going with a small company that has excellent customer service and handled the transfer flawlessly.

In reply to: Slow loading postsThere are issues at Hostgator with WP that they either are aware of and not saying or can’t figure out because I had the same problems.
Changed hosts and the problems disappeared.
HG told me it was a plugin issue but it was not.
Check your server loads.
