@axeljf: There is a sticky topic at the top of this support forum. Once you have it, enter the key on your site under Settings | Google Fonts | Advanced.
I resolved this by adding an API key. Now the fonts appear.
I am having the same issue. WP 4.7.2, all plugins (except Easy Google Fonts) disabled.
