Greetings, I had this problem with a client – they were uploading images that had spaces in the file-name. Remove the spaces (and any punctuation or odd characters) and see if the photo appears.

I’m having the same issue, tried everything, but still no visual editing?
Upon further review, this seems to be a problem with the Default 1.6 theme, because when I switch to the Classic theme, they appear fine.
I’d still like to fix it though.
