In reply to: classic paragraph toolbar scrolls off screenI think that one’s closed and refers to Fix support of sticky position in non-iframed post editor #53540 per:
………..

@t-hamano Please don’t do this. It’s bad enough being in a modal popup in the iFramed editor
stokesman closed this as completed in #53540 last month
………………
anyway, the fix apparent is coming in 6.3.2 for those following this and don’t want to track through the various updats.

In reply to: classic paragraph toolbar scrolls off screenSame here. The reference above Classic Editor block: toolbar is no longer sticky when scrolling #53477 has a longer discussion, some possible solutions, but still nothing in place. I’m spending way to much time in Code Editor mode, since it’s such a pain to scroll up and down. Some formatting just can’t be done yet in block mode.
Please fix.
I’m not sure. The backups work, stats are collected, Etc. – but sometimes I have to re-establish the connection from the dashboard. I haven’t been able to determine for sure any cause or consistency to what’s going on.
It may be due to the security plugins / features on the site. I don’t want to put those in a public form, so if possible, can we go offline and I’ll get you the list of what I’m using. Then hopefully you have some links to settings and such that I can verify on my own before taking up your time with it.
thanks,
chris
Update to this – received the following from my hosting provider:
I did dig into this and it appears that all the checks are in place on our end. The one error I do see is stemming from their end of things and it seems that the site may already be registered with them:

Yes, it is the pro version.
Hi – here’s the link –
https://godversusreligion.com/test-embed-in-new-tab/
The external links plugin isn’t enabled right now, since it wasn’t working and I haven’t done any testing on potential side effects. But it will show what I’m hoping to do.Also, it didn’t get far enough to do a staging site, so it’s got a password so no one stumbles on it other than via this thread: extlinks
thanks!

In reply to: Can I expand the “Advanced” tab in Gutenberg blocks by default?I’d like to be able to do this as well, but there’s been no response back. So – I’ll either add my vote for it for bring it back into view. BTW – I have the Ultimate Addons and don’t see it either.
thanks!

In reply to: [Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields] Edit page not loading – 404 errorUpdate – created a staging site and back leveled pods to 2.8.9 and it appears to work. Edit screen is there and data can be entered.
Haven’t done in production yet. Waiting for something from you to say this is OK and won’t mess up anything by going back.
thanks!
chrisNot exactly sure why, but it’s working now. Yesyterday, the amp folder for the page wasn’t being created in cache. Today it is.

Thanks!

In reply to: [footnotes] footnotes appearing in headerHave problems also, but a bit different. Mine are coming out in the sidebar for the home page – but individual posts are OK.
Turned off the footnotes on summaries, but that didn’t help.

Please let me know if you need anything else.
I believe it’s an over simplification to chalk it up to that. Something happened to drastically change what’s reported by Jetpack somewhere around feb or march. There was a site problem around that time – and it seems like something got messed up. Would be nice to fix, but …

In reply to: Finding reusable blocksNice idea, but I do this on my own dime – no income from it. Inexpensive is good enough.
