I managed to get rid of the gap, but I’m not sure what you mean by deleting the welcome text in the post?
The only place I seem able to get rid of it is as the page title, however, if I get rid of the page title that messes up the menu along the top. It seems it adds the page title – I’ll figure something out, I guess.
