I finally decided to try restoring a backup before many updates were done. It didn’t help so after restoring the latest backup, so I then followed your advice and changed the theme to one of the standard ones and that cured all the problems.

Doing better thanks to your help. Yes that’s improved things as at least you can see the calendar now. I added your code to the style.css file of the Coraline theme. Now if you look it seems to have lost some formatting of the calendar popup itself as the dates are not in line with the days across the top. Not sure now if this is a style thing or something more fundamental. Any thoughts?

I have tried for the moment the default themes in preview mode and yes the background of the popup does go opaque, as it does when in the present theme “customise” mode. Its only in full production mode it’s wrong.
I’ve left a message on the theme forum to see if anyone can suggest what’s going on there.
Yep that worked, the menu item is there and displayed for me the first time I loaded the site, thereafter it vanished. Is their an easy way to get it to show again so I can check my amended message?

WP-FLVSo the only common pne with gfinch in Nextgen Gallery which is also giving me problems as on the Internet their seems to be a clash with Contact Form 7, though I don’t have that loaded. There is also some thought that it may be a php upload memory limit causing that.
Looks like I might have to switch every thing off and then see if it works. Looks like a job for Wednesday.
