I just checked this out, and although what you suggest is one method to do this, it doesn’t allow me separate “Categories” from “Contributors.”

Let me explain a little better. Here’s an example of what I’m trying to do. The site is called Kansans. It features editorials from three people from Kansas – Bill, Mark, and Rachel. Bill’s column is called Benches, Mark’s is called Musings, and Rachel’s is called Riled Up.

On the nav menu at the top, I want there to be Home, Benches, Musings, Riled Up, About, and Contact.

When people click Benches, I want them to see everything Bill has submitted, with the ability to have his own tag cloud, categories, etc.

So I’m kind of suggesting three blogs within a WordPress blog. Am I asking for too much?
