In reply to: [Classic Editor] Reverting to old version of siteHello,
I posted this message about 10 days ago and no one has replied – is anyone able to help me with this? Yours hopefully!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Reverting to old version of sitea2hostingrj – Thanks for your reply. This is very disappointing if switching editors means it won’t remember content I’ve added in the Classic editor, as I used advice received that switching editors would just mean you edit in a different way.
My understanding is that that the Classic Editor hides all functionality available in the new block editor (“Gutenberg”), rather than stops updating your content.
What do you mean by the plugin developer? Is that the developer of the Classic Editor or of the Brigsby theme?
How could I find out the details of the developer to contact them?

In reply to: Reverting to old version of siteHi, Thanks for your message. If I have the classic editor activated, it does show my latest changes as shown on our live web site (and this is how I’ve been editing the pages over the last number of months as I couldn’t get the block editor to give me the option to format text as I needed). However, i want to be able to use the block editor, so I deactivated ‘classic editor’ and when I go to edit a page it shows the content of the web pages as they were last August! This is clearly no good! I’m not sure what you call that edit screen, and there doesn’t seem to be able a way for me to attach a screenshot here to share the page with you.

In reply to: Content box editing helpHello Joy, Thanks for your reply. I’m using WordPress for my web site so I’m using it for that rather than a blog. I’m not seeing the font editing/formatting options. Please can you let me know where I can access it? THanks
